Our purpose
To inspire our community to celebrate their beauty within, so that they can feel confident within their unique skin.

Our founder's story
Charlotte’s passion for skincare grew from her own struggles with acne as a teen. After much searching for a solution, she finally met a beauty therapist who offered the advice, care and treatment that made a difference to Charlotte’s skin and ultimately her confidence. It was this personal and attentive experience that influenced and guided Charlotte to later study beauty therapy – and graduate dux of her year and build a career in skincare and beauty therapy.
Fuelled with passion and ideas, in 2016 Charlotte was ready to take her brand of what skin and beauty care should be for clients and take over the ownership of Hawthorne Beauty Room. At that stage, the small business was operating from a couple of cosy rooms within a local hair salon. In four short years, Charlotte grew a solid team with like-minded and equally passionate beauty therapist and cultivated a loyal and growing clientele.
In 2020, in spite of the challenges of a global pandemic that forced temporary business closure and a slowing economy, Charlotte and her team reopened and bounced back with the resounding support of her clientele for which the team will be forever grateful. It was this support, that helped cement Charlotte’s decision to take a leap of faith and move from those cosy back rooms to open a new salon in a prime location at 250 Hawthorne Road, Hawthorne – and fulfilling one of her own beauty business dreams.
Today, Charlotte, together with her superstar team of beauty experts, look forward to pampering you at Hawthorne Skin & Beauty.

Rewarding you is something we love to do. Each time you visit HSB you can earn rewards points that can be redeemed for a treatment or product you have not previously enjoyed.
How does it work?
Each time you visit HSB you can earn rewards points that can be redeemed for a treatment or product you have not previously enjoyed. There is no joining fee. Every new client receives a HSB Treat Card Number – if you haven’t received one, please let us know. Each time you visit the salon, bring your HBR reward card so it can be scanned and earn reward points from each treatment or products you purchase.
How do I earn points?
You earn points for every treatment or product you purchase, you can even earn points for referring friends or posting a Google review. Here’s our points menu:
- Earn 1 point for every $1 spent on treatments and products
- Double your points when you visit by booking your next appointment
- Earn 700 points by referring a friend
- Earn 50 points by posting a Google review
How do I redeem my points?
Your points don’t have an expiry so you can keep earning and redeem them when you’re ready. Get $50 off any Skin Treatment over the value of $179 or 10% off a NEW product you wish to try.
For example, if you wish to try an Full Face Skin Needling Treatment, valued at $349, you need to earn 700 points to receive $50 off.
