Are there any safety considerations for this treatment?

IPL Facial therapy may not be suitable for you:

  • If you have a very dark skin tone
  • Have any active inflammation or infection
  • Are pregnant/breastfeeding
  • You had recent sun exposure or fake tan
  • You are taking certain medications or using active ingredients.

Possible effects include temporary redness, darkening of pigment/vascular lesions, mild swelling or pigment/vascular changes, all of which will be discussed thoroughly in your skin consultation, your safety and confidence comes first always.

At Hawthorne Skin & Beauty, we understand your time is valuable, and we hope you appreciate that our time is too. When you make an appointment with us, you are also accepting the terms of our cancellation policy.

We understand your circumstances can change and you may need to cancel and reschedule an appointment. If this happens, please note the following:
  • If you need to cancel/reschedule more than 48hrs from your appointment, simply click on Reschedule My Pampering to quickly and easily rebook a new appointment. No cancellation fee applies.
  • If you need to cancel/reschedule less than 48hrs from your appointment, we kindly request, and require, you to contact us on 0482 099 558.

To avoid any cancellation fee, please note:
  • If you cancel more than 24 hours from your scheduled appointment, you will NOT incur any cancellation fee.
  • If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, regrettably, you will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost of your booked treatment. If that appointment can be filled the fee may be waived.
  • If you fail to show for your appointment, regrettably, you will incur a no-show fee equal to 100% of the cost of your treatment.
