What is Skin Needling?

Skin Needling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using a device equipped with fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin's surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the skin's natural healing response, leading to the production of new collagen and elastin fibres. The benefits of skin needling are numerous and include:
  • Skin Rejuvenation: Skin Needling promotes collagen and elastin production, resulting in improved skin texture, firmness, and elasticity. It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars, giving the skin a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
  • Scar Reduction: Skin Needling is effective in minimising the appearance of scars, including acne scars, surgical scars, and stretch marks. By stimulating collagen remodelling and promoting new tissue formation, it can lead to smoother and less visible scars over time.

Note: Skin Needling is generally well-tolerated, but it may cause temporary redness, mild swelling, or sensitivity immediately after the procedure. Recovery time is typically short, and the treated skin can resume normal activities within a few days. Multiple sessions of Skin Needling are often recommended for optimal results, with intervals of 4-6 weeks between treatments.

When will I see results?

You may notice a healthy glow within a few days. More visible improvements in texture, tone, and firmness gradually become noticeable over 4–8 weeks as collagen production increases. Results continue to improve with each session.

At Hawthorne Skin & Beauty, we understand your time is valuable, and we hope you appreciate that our time is too. When you make an appointment with us, you are also accepting the terms of our cancellation policy.

We understand your circumstances can change and you may need to cancel and reschedule an appointment. If this happens, please note the following:
  • If you need to cancel/reschedule more than 48hrs from your appointment, simply click on Reschedule My Pampering to quickly and easily rebook a new appointment. No cancellation fee applies.
  • If you need to cancel/reschedule less than 48hrs from your appointment, we kindly request, and require, you to contact us on 0482 099 558.

To avoid any cancellation fee, please note:
  • If you cancel more than 24 hours from your scheduled appointment, you will NOT incur any cancellation fee.
  • If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, regrettably, you will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost of your booked treatment. If that appointment can be filled the fee may be waived.
  • If you fail to show for your appointment, regrettably, you will incur a no-show fee equal to 100% of the cost of your treatment.
