What is Skin Resurfacing?

Peels & Skin Resurfacing treatments involve the application of chemical solutions (such as AHAs & BHAs) or advanced techniques to exfoliate the outermost layer of the skin. What peels does HSB offer?

We have a range of peels we can choose from to treat almost any skin condition. Our IMAGE Skincare range has peels that target breakouts, pigmentation or discolouration and wrinkles or fine lines. The difference between the peels is mainly their potency of ingredients which will be chosen for your skin specific needs and barrier function. We offer LVL 1, LVL 2 & LVL 3 Peels so we can step you through the skin journey safely and effectively.

Is there any downtime?

Depending on the peel chosen on the day of treatment, there may be some downtime required. 1-3 days for most peels offered at HSB. Our range of LVL 3 peels (Jessner like peels) are our most advanced and there may be 1-2weeks downtime for these peels. This will all be covered in your initial Skin Chat with your HSB Skin Angel.

At Hawthorne Skin & Beauty, we understand your time is valuable, and we hope you appreciate that our time is too. When you make an appointment with us, you are also accepting the terms of our cancellation policy.

We understand your circumstances can change and you may need to cancel and reschedule an appointment. If this happens, please note the following:
  • If you need to cancel/reschedule more than 48hrs from your appointment, simply click on Reschedule My Pampering to quickly and easily rebook a new appointment. No cancellation fee applies.
  • If you need to cancel/reschedule less than 48hrs from your appointment, we kindly request, and require, you to contact us on 0482 099 558.

To avoid any cancellation fee, please note:
  • If you cancel more than 24 hours from your scheduled appointment, you will NOT incur any cancellation fee.
  • If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, regrettably, you will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost of your booked treatment. If that appointment can be filled the fee may be waived.
  • If you fail to show for your appointment, regrettably, you will incur a no-show fee equal to 100% of the cost of your treatment.
